Clubhouse Roof Repairs

Repairs are being made this week to the Clubhouse Roof. Leaks had developed around the ventilators and roof tiles were damaged by the fallen oak tree. Fortunately, the original roof construction was done with redwood, so most of the structural components were in excellent shape. Repairs will be completed today, Wednesday 7/7/10.

    Yikes that's a big hole! It's right to address that problem ASAP, before the weather beats you to it! Moreover, you should have taken advantage of the repair by checking your insulation and gutter system at the same time.

    The transformation was really obvious there. From that nasty damaged roof picture to that newly repaired one, the looks are exactly opposite to each other. Nice job there.

    Once you determine the source of the leak, then the solution can be simple, you may have to replace only one or two shingles. If the leak is at only one spot, you can try roof repair sealant. It is best applied from the outside, and it is a clear product so the repair will be difficult to detect.Apply the sealant with a caulking gun and then retest with water.
